Paul Jordan

Paul Jordan, 88, of Rexburg, passed away December 19, 2023, at Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg.

Paul was born August 10, 1935, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Charles Lloyd Jordan and Louisa Redd Jordan. He grew up and attended schools in Milo and graduated from Bonneville High School. He also attended Compton College in Compton, California.

On July 8, 1955, he married Margene Mildred Glover Jordan in Idaho Falls. Paul and Margene made their home in Ammon, Idaho, until moving to Rexburg, Idaho, in 2020, where Paul was a construction worker for Century Link.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as ward clerk.  He enjoyed electronics, fishing, and camping.

Paul is survived by his wife, Margene Jordan of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Susan (Jason) Wood of Driggs, ID; grandson-in-law, Cameron (Melinda, deceased) Murphy of Shelley, ID, and his children, Kodey, Beau, Rilygh, and Addi; granddaughter-in-law, Naomi (Seth, deceased) Wood of Tetonia, ID, and her children, Lane and Liam; granddaughter, Danielle (Jeff) Breckenridge of Tetonia, ID, and their children, Charly, Jim, and Dale; and sister, Thirza (Steve) McClasky of Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Rose; granddaughter, Melinda Murphy; grandson, Seth Wood; and grandson, Cody Wood.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.  The family will visit with friends from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. prior at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
