Paul Hoskins

Paul Albert Hoskins, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 28, 2019, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. He was under the care of OneSource Hospice and his loving family. Paul was born September 1, 1921, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Gova Foster Hoskins and Ortha Waters Hoskins. He grew up in Wendell, Idaho, and graduated from Wendell High School. He also attended the University of Idaho where he earned his Bachelors Degree. Paul served his country during WWII as a Flight Operations Officer for the US Army Air Corps. On February 7, 1943, he married Kathryn Mock in Moscow, Idaho. To this union were born four children. Paul and Kathryn made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, following his retirement as a Forest Ranger for United States Forest Service. His loving wife, Kathryn, passed away on March 27, 2009. He was a member of various churches and choirs due to career moves for his job. Paul enjoyed flying and was a flight instructor. He also enjoyed snow skiing, waterskiing, snowmobiling and riding motorcycles. Paul is survived by his loving son, Alan P. (Karen) Hoskins of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kathleen H. (Kim, deceased) Eliason of Lake Stevens, WA; daughter, Marcia H. McNeil of Big Timber, MT; son, Daniel J. (Jeanne) Hoskins of Belgrade, MT; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn Mock Hoskins; three siblings, Leonard, Virginia and Marilyn; and son-in-law, Kim Eliason. Private family services will be held at later date.
