Paul Anthony Botero, of lona, Idaho passed away at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls on October 10, 2014, at the age of 78. Paul was born September 3, 1936 to Martin Botero and Edna Hayes Botero in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the youngest child and only son.
Paul graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1954. Paul and Judy Pollard were married February 13, 1965, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Paul worked in the automobile business all of his life. He called it his "auto career". He was known as a man of integrity and honesty by all that knew him. He held several positions in the church and made lifelong friends there. He was most happy when outdoors fishing, hunting or just looking at nature.
Paul is survived by his wife, Judy; their children, Tony ( Maria Rieth) Botero; Lisa ( John) Bork; Rob Botero; Kirk Botero; Hollie (Scott) Noble; 13 Grandchildren; 10 great-grand children, and one on the way. Sisters; Beverly Crouch and Joan Bithell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest sister, Melba Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home on 963 South Ammon Road in Idaho Falls. Family will greet friends and family from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Iona Cemetery.
