Patricia Lynn Dunham Bell, 63, of Ammon, passed away May 3, 2016, at her home after a courageous three year battle with cancer. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. Pattie was born October 15, 1952, in Great Falls, Montana, to Richard Eugene Dunham and Charlotte Louise Farnsworth Dunham. She grew up and attended schools in Montana, and Texas, and graduated from Arlington Heights High School. On January 1, 1976, she married Jon Edward Bell in Reno, Nevada. Together they raised six children, Damon, Monique, Patti, Teri, Dwayne, and Vicki. Pattie and Jon made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Pattie worked as the owner and financial manager of Bell Hardwood. Pattie was a Christian with a close relationship with God. She was a member of Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, sight seeing, the outdoors including snowmobiling, boating, and fishing. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was very persistent and was not a quitter. Pattie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jon Bell of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Damon Scott (Kris Day) of MI; daughter, Monique Marie (Jonathan) Crumley of Ammon, ID; daughter, Patti (Doyle) Galbraith of OR; daughter, Teri (Don Duncan) Price of NV; son, Dwayne (Ann) Bell of WA; daughter, Vicki Bell of Pocatello, ID; father, Richard Eugene Dunham of TX; brother, Richard (Shirley) Dunham of MS; brother, Robert (Jeanene) Dunham of OR; brother, Michael John (Becky) Long of TX; sister, Cicilia "Sissy" (Roger) Dillon of MS; sister, Michelle (William) Smith of TX; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Louise Dunham. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, with Pastor Dean Lifshay of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a Benefit Fund for Pattie Bell at Citizen’s Community Bank.
