Patti Clark - 09/18/2001 Patti Clark - 09/18/2001 PATTI CLARK IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Patricia Ann “Patti” Akers Clark, 61, of Idaho Falls, died September 17, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of lingering illnesses. She was born June 17, 1940, at Blackfoot, to Paul Akers and Mina Frasure Akers. She grew up in Blackfoot and attended schools there, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1958. She married Howard Brent Clark August 15, 1958, at Blackfoot. They lived in San Diego, California while her husband was serving in the United States Marine Corps, and then in Blackfoot until 1975, after which they moved to Idaho Falls. She has been a homemaker and mother and also worked as a church secretary, store clerk, in child care, and as a youth teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked at the church as a secretary and volunteer. She loved the outdoors, caring for her family, and enjoyed her grandkids. Surviving are:Husband: Brent Clark, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Toni [Doug] Vandel, Ucon, IDDaughter: Kim [Mike] Smith, Twin Falls, IDDaughter: Wendy Clark, Twin Falls, IDBrother: Dave Akers, Beaver Creek, ORBrother: Steve [Laurie] Akers, Marysville, WABrother: Mike [Carol] Akers, Blackfoot, IDSister: Jeanne [Gene] Jensen, Glendale, AZSister: Barbara [Jay] Jensen, Idaho Falls, ID 17 Grandchildren & 1 Great GrandchildShe was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gayle, and a grandson, Ryan. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2001, at the First Baptist Church, 665 John Adams Parkway, with Reverends David & Kelly Moor officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
