IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Patsy Marian Durrant Wallace, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 8, 2008 of cancer. She spent her last days at the Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center where she was well taken care of.
She was born April 5, 1946, in Coalville, Utah, to Benjamin Lemar Durrant and Bessie Aileen Carter Durrant. She lived in various parts of the Salt Lake Valley as she was growing up.
On September 15, 1972, she married Mardee Wallace in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She lived for 22 years in the Salt Lake Valley, 20 years in Shelley, and 15 years in Idaho Falls. She was a mother and a homemaker.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life. She served as chorister and pianist in all organizations. She taught Primary and Relief Society and always magnified her callings. She enjoyed music, reading, and gardening, playing the piano and organ. Her children and grandchildren were her life.

Son: Benjamin (Carmen) Wallace, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Benjamin (Eddie) Durrant, WA
Brother: Mike (Leveta) Durrant, UT
Brother: Gary (Maia) Durrant, UT
Sister: Alice (John) Nelson, AZ
9 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Neena Durrant; and son, Mardee D. Wallace.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the Idaho Falls LDS Stonehaven Ward, 1660 - 12th Street, with Bishop Jeffery Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.

I loved Patsy, she always had a smile for me. She was a good friend. She had wonderful talents that she shared often. We lost touch with her when the changed the ward boundries. We were so sorry to read in the paper of her passing. She will be greatly missed
