Patrick Stewart

Patrick Sherard Stewart, AKA “Stewey”, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Patrick was born March 22, 1948, the first child of Carol Opal Peterson Stewart and Carl Elmer Stewart. He attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. Patrick worked as a carpenter throughout his life with his father Carl, building many homes in Idaho Falls, as well as the Methodist Church on St. Clair. Some would say he was "the best ever." Patrick had two children, Michelle and Christian, both of them were true loves of his life. He had two grandchildren, Mersaydi, and Kamri, as well as one on the way, Ashton. Pat loved Nascar, fishing, golfing, Super Bowl Sunday, his dog Bandit and spending time with his family and friends. Another love of his was putting together jigsaw puzzles and building the frames for them to be hung on the wall. Pat is survived by: Son: Christian W. (Brandi) Stewart of Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Michelle (Kelly) Harsh of Pocatello, ID three grandchildren three brothers: Randy, Curtis, and Jason who were his best buds ever; and two ex-wives, Mille Clark and Dorothy Barber. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Carol. Pat was an inspiration and friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (1730 St. Clair Road). Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave.
