Patrick Paul Monroe Haynes, 45, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 29, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, after a short, but valiant fight with lung cancer.
Patrick was born October 13, 1980, in Eagle River, Wisconsin, to Jeffery John Haynes and Penny Kathryn Fralix Haynes. He grew up and attended schools in Wisconsin, Florida, and North Dakota.
His first marriage brought him his sons, Brady and Connor, who he spoke of frequently and loved fiercely. His biggest source of pride was being a father.
On April 4, 2015, he married Billie Joe Cornellier and they made their home in Menomonie, WI. He and Billie were later separated and Patrick started his life over in Idaho Falls, ID, where he was reunited with siblings, Kyle, Freedom, and Travis.
Patrick loved to do anything outdoors. He loved to be standing near some water, fishing for whatever was biting that day. His words of advice were always to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, feel the sunshine on your face, and appreciate what you have because you never know when life can change.
Patrick is survived by his partner, Marisa Peterson of Idaho Falls; sons, Brady Paul Monroe Haynes, and Connor Daniel Haynes, both of Merrill, WI; infant daughter, Olive Haynes of Idaho Falls; brother, Adam Brown of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Kyle Brown of Idaho Falls; sister, Freedom Gunderson of Rexburg, ID; brother, Travis Kerbs of Chicago, IL; sister, Marcy Williamson of Needville, TX; sister Desiree Haynes of Tampa, FL; one grandchild; and adopted mothers, Lindy Haynes of Merrill, WI; and Laura Willard of Grand Island, NE.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, 4600 South Yellowstone Hwy.
