Patricia "Patsy" Marie Henricksen passed away peacefully at her home on December 21, 2017.
Patsy was born on July 11, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Victor Francis Piram and Sarah Buechner Piram. Patsy loved to dance. As a little girl her grandmother and mother dotted on her and attended many dance recitals. Her grandmother made all of her costumes for every occasion. She attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1959. After high school she attended Linefield College where she was a cheerleader, member of the Kappa Alpha Phi, she was mentioned in the who’s who among students and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
On July 7, 1965, she married her high school sweetheart Larry R. Henricksen. They made their home in Seattle, Washington, until retirement. They then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she loved sitting by the pool daily. Due to health issues they moved back to Idaho Falls to be near family. Larry passed away in 2007.
Patsy had many accomplishments through her life, from president of the dance to purchaser and designer at Nordstroms for over 30 years.
Patsy was in inspiration to many people even with all the health issues she had. Her smile was always there and she was bubbly and kind to everyone. Her spirit will always be remembered by her kindness and giving to others. She will be missed those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister in-law, Glenda Bates, brother in-law, Darrel Henricksen, sister in-law, Bonnie Henricksen, loving niece and caregiver, Lauri Kyle, niece, Linda Bates, nephews, Scot Marsh, Bryan Marsh and Kevin Marsh, many great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and her "pudy tat", Kallie. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Kidney Center for all the care and kindness they gave her. Also, Robert Farnam, Attorney at Law, and Jule for all they have done for Patsy.
She was preceded in death by both parents, brother, Lyle "Ooley" Piram, and husband, Larry Henricksen.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in Ammon Cemetery.
