Patricia Ruth Gamble, 74, of Idaho Falls, was gently carried into heaven by her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born August 12, 1943, in Morenci, Arizona, to Bertrum Tilden Hogg and Gertha Faye Walton Hogg. She grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Morenci High School. She also attended Safford Beauty College. On February 15, 1963, she married Henry Ross Gamble in Morenci, Arizona. To this union were born two children, Spencer and Rebbecca. Patricia was a wife, mother, homemaker, and Nana. She also worked as a cosmetologist in her own beauty salon in Clifton, Arizona. Patricia was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Idaho Falls and North Valley Baptist Church in Oro Valley, Arizona. She was very active in her Christian walk and loved the Lord with all her heart. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, stained glass work, loved the outdoors and was very creative and artistic. She was passionate and unselfishly supported her family’s hobbies. Patricia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Henry Gamble of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Spencer Gamble (granddaughters, Alyssa, Hannah and Kendra) of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Rebbecca (husband and son-in-law, Griffin, and granddaughter, Jourdon) Neddo of Challis, ID; sister, Audria (Jim) Sullivan of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Julia Sanders of Bixby, OK; and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jo Ann Ballard; and a brother, George Hogg. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2017, at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (2345 West Broadway) with Pastor Matthew Swenson officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
