My condolences and sympathy to Chuck, Terry, Rick, & Suzie. I don't know of anything to say or do that would help ease the pain from your loss, but I am glad I knew her and that she made a great influence in my life. "Mom" Bousquet was my second mom. She was also "Mom" to many others (It was sometimes difficult hearing others call her mom. I got jealous at times but soon realized it was just her nature to be the mother influence to so many). Pat took me in and helped out as my own mother was very sick and not able to do the things with me she wanted. Pat gave me my first pair of Levis. I felt like a son to her and Chuck and a brother to the rest of the family. Pat and I had many long talks about just about everything. She was always ready to help; just point here in the direction you want and she did it. Pat made my first pair of moccasins. She worked very hard on them. The more she beaded the more the leather stretched. By the time they were done, I could have put both feet in the same shoe. They were beautiful. Pat was quite the seamstress as well. She made patches on her sewing machine for Girl Scouts and she made Straight Dance ribbons; several sets at a time. She made a great set for me.The Bousquet name is synonamous with hospitality. She always made me and others welcome. She would say hi in English, Japanese, or Italian. It was always comfortable around Pat and the rest of the family. She made it that way.I will miss Pat. You are in our hearts and prayers. Pat was a brave and courageous woman, and a real sweetheart too. I know the sorrow you feel, but also know that Pat has left all the pain behind and is in a better place. I hope knowing that she does not suffer anymore will give you peace. Her spirit will be with you always.
We love you all,Beverly and Shannon Guthrie

At a time like this, there is not much anyone can say or do to lessen the pain. But Ron and I are praying that God will blanket you all with his love and comfort in the days ahead. I have many fond memories of Aunt Pat -- teaching me how to count to 10 in Japanese...showing me how to make real Italian pizza...and her laugh that was always so easy to come. She fought against so many odds through these last years, and left this earth as I remember her -- quietly, and I'm sure smiling on the inside. Our love and prayers to Uncle Chuck, Terry, Rick and Suzie.
Love,Peggy and Ron

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond's gift of snow, I am the sunlight on ocean waves, I am the autumn's gentle rain, When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night, Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

We send all of you our sympathy & prayers. I know she will be missed. She fought a brave battle. Here is a poem: God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you & whispered, "Come with Me" With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove, he only takes the best. All our love. Lee & Linda
