Pamela Parker Steele, 61, of St. Anthony, passed away August 17, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from a head trauma after a fall at her home.
Pamela was born November 13,1952, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Stanley Willard Parker and Ella D. Evans Parker. She grew up and attended schools in Pocatello, and graduated from Pocatello High School. She then went to Lela's Beauty College in Pocatello and graduated as a cosmetologist and continued on to Idaho State University Trade School where she earned her Degree as a Secretary in 1973.
She married Dean Gray in the Spring of 1971. Aaron Roger was born in November of 1971. They were later Divorced. She remarried to Gordon Ray Steele on June 8,1973. Gordon Ray adopted Aaron, and Angela Marie was born to them in 1975. She made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho where she worked as a hair dresser and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints and held various positions. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, art, bowling, playing cards, camping, skiing, and fishing. She was in several Beauty Shows, styled hair for the Shows, was an excellent seamstress, and loved to have fun. She enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends. Pamela and Ray were later divorced.
She moved to St. Anthony, Idaho and resided with Wilfred Green. She spent many hours doing her crafts, and going to the Senior Citizen Center. She loved to play cards, bingo, wii bowling, go swimming and to the movies. She made several wonderful friends in her last years until she passed away.
She will always be in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was a daughter, mother, grandma, sister, and aunt that will always be loved.
Pamela is survived by her son, Aaron Roger (Jo Baune) Steele of San Diego, CA; and her daughter, Angela Marie (Rulon) Johnson of Ammon, ID; sister, Nancy (Art) Parker of Moab, UT; brother, Kevin (Lisa) Parker of Meridian, ID; sister, Diane Cano (Raul) Parker of Pocatello, ID; and 5 grandchildren; Kaylie Johnson, Erika Johnson, Riley Johnson, Taj Steele, and Jordi Steele. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Willard Parker; mother, Ella D. Evans Parker; brother, Leslie Gene Evans Parker.
Services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the South Fremont Senior Citizen Center in St. Anthony, ID (420 N Bridge Street, Suite D) at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, ID with immediate family at a later date.
