Peter Alfred Anderson Sr. was born the 22nd of November 1936 in the rock house across from the old county farm on the Sugar Factory Road in Kimberly, Idaho. He was the second child of Leslie Anderson and Alice Rose Littler Anderson. His love of farming began as he worked alongside his father on the family farm. He attended and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1954. He met and married the love of his life, Edith Sadie Ledbetter, on June 6, 1958 in Kimberly, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 28, 1962. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings, including Assistant Ward Clerk, and especially enjoyed working with the Stake missionaries as a Seventy and High Priest. In the fall of 1968, they purchased a farm in Monteview, Idaho; and moved their family there in the Spring of 1969. He continued to farm until August 1999 when he sold the farm and moved to Idaho Falls, where they still reside. Because of his love of the outdoors and his hard-work ethic, he continued to work for many years after selling the farm. He found enjoyment in helping others and treasured the many friendships he made during his employment at Albertsons and WalMart. He loved his family very much and attended many of their activities and gatherings. He collected coins, metal coin banks, stamps, dominos, and pocket knives. Some of his greatest pleasures were putting a puzzle together and reading anything about history.
