Orson Roland Clark, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 12, 2015, in Mesa, Arizona.
He was born November 23, 1941, in Idaho Falls to Orson Wadman Clark and Lilly Faye Potter Clark. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1960.
On March 4, 1960, he married his high school sweetheart, Marva Ann Yoder, in Idaho Falls. They moved to Redlands, California for a short time and then returned to Idaho Falls where they made their home. In 1965, he became a firefighter and battled thousands of blazes in his 36-year career with the Idaho Falls Fire Department. He was the first paramedic in Idaho and its surrounding states, and held the accompanying Emergency Medical Technician certification card for almost eight years.
Following his retirement in 2001, he and Marva enjoyed traveling in their motor home to California and Arizona. He also enjoyed camping, boating, and snowmobiling.

Son: Bryan (Tamera) Clark, Layton, UT
Three Grandchildren: Joseph (Liz), Christopher (Samantha), and Amanda
Three Great Grandchildren: Noel, Aiden, and Ben
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon). The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
