ORBA LARSEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Orba Larsen, 79, of Idaho Falls, died
June 19, 2004, at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living. She was under the
care of the Aspen Foundation for Hospice Care.
She was born August 17, 1924, in Chapin (Victor/Driggs
area), to Samuel and Elizabeth Ann Murphy Woolstenhulme. She grew up and
attended schools in Chapin.
In 1939 she married Dave Burgener and they were later
divorced. She married John Lavere Larsen November 3, 1956, in Blackfoot.
She was a homemaker and mother. She also worked as a waitress and cook,
then as a saleslady at Sears for 12 years, and later sold motor homes
with her son. Her husband passed away August 17, 1979.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, and sewing.

Stepdaughter: Pat [Ron] Johnson, Irvine, CA
9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lavere, a sister,
Reva, six brothers, Claude, Lee, Marc, Vern, Bryce, and Lloyd Woolstenhulme,
a grandson, David Burgener, and a great granddaughter, Amber Hoopes.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June
23, 2004, at the Wood Funeral Home East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road,
with Bishop Frank Johnston of the Idaho Falls LDS 18th Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends Wednesday for one
hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Victor Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
