ORA CAMPBELL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ora Anderson Campbell, 94, of Idaho Falls, died April 19, 2002, at Idaho Falls Care Center of causes incident to age.
She was born August 14, 1907 at Ephraim, Utah to Neils R. Anderson and Anna Marinda Oveson Anderson. At the age of 7, she moved to Arco, where she grew up and attended schools, graduating from Arco High School. In 1927, she moved to Iona.
She married Alvin Campbell on February 1, 1928 in Idaho Falls. They moved to Milo in 1937. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a lunch lady for District 93 at Iona and Ucon Elementary Schools. Her husband passed away in 1975.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a lifetime visiting teacher. She served as a Pink Lady for the LDS Hospital’s Riverview Nursing Home.
Surviving are:Daughter: Eunice (Kenneth) Crellin, Salt Lake City, UTSon: Larry (Lou) Campbell, Ucon, ID 10 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; a son, Lloyd Campbell; three brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2002, at the Milo LDS 2nd Ward, 12127 North 75 East, with Bishop Kenneth Stucki officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
