OPAL M. TYLER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Opal May Tyler, 82, of Garden City,
Idaho, died January 10, 2004, at Good Samaritan Village in Boise, Idaho.
She was born February 19, 1921, at Ririe, to Alma Lehi
Fisher and Martha Pearl Baker Fisher. She attended schools in Upper Poplar.
In 1937, she married Andrews Murray Tyler in Rexburg.
Two years later, their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
They divorced in 1967. She worked as a checker in several grocery stores
and was a companion/caretaker for the elderly.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints and served in the Relief Society and in the Young Women’s
organizations. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, cooking and loved
working in the garden. She was an excellent homemaker and took great pride
in the way she took care of her home.

Sister: Helen Beck, Rigby, ID
12 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Hiles Fisher, Floyd Fisher,
Ray Fisher, Eldon Fisher, William Fisher, Orval Fisher; four sisters,
Goldie Severson, Lovan Peterson, Lola Tucket and Geneva Beesley; and two
grandchildren, Neal Stucki and Carrie Bernhardt.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January
15, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines (273 N. Ridge).
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from
6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior
to the services.
Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery under the direction of
Wood Funeral Home.
