NITA GODWIN
SHELLEY, ID -- Oneida Lyvonne “Nita” Juhnke Godwin, 80, of Shelley, passed away February 1, 2006, at her home of natural causes.
She was born May 31, 1925, in Beach, North Dakota, to Otto F. Juhnke and Lettie G. Smith Juhnke. She grew up and attended schools in Clyde Park, Montana.
She married Roy Lee Godwin September 1, 1967, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They made their home in Salt Lake City for 28 years, then moved to Shelley ten years ago. She was a homemaker and mother and worked for many years as a waitress and for National Semiconductor in Salt Lake City. She owned and operated a bookstore, The Bookworm, in Moab, Utah.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and gardening. Nita was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Lars Godwin, and a brother, Howard Juhnke.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2006, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1480 Jefferson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
