Olive Hepworth

Olive Hepworth, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 6, 2017, at her home. Olive was born June 16, 1928, in Logan, Utah, to Clarence Larson and Christine Marie Nielsen Larson. She grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. On July 26, 1948, she married Neil N Hepworth in Arco, Idaho, and their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple December 29, 2007. Neil and Olive made their home in Idaho Falls, where they raised their four children, Neil, Gloria, Dale, and Deborah. Olive was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Neil passed away November 3, 2008. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the temple and in the Relief Society and Primary presidencies. She enjoyed gardening, painting, reading, spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved attending her grandchildren’s special events. Olive is survived by son, Neil Wayne (Michele) Hepworth of Blackfoot, ID, daughter, Gloria (John) Folker of St. George, UT, son, Dale (Chris) Hepworth of Rigby, ID, daughter, Deborah (Ed) Gulbransen of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Coleen (Jerry) Rowe of Chubbuck, ID, sister, Corine (Jay) Casper of Idaho Falls, ID, brother-in-law, Keith Nickerson of Howe, ID, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Keith Larson, and a sister, Fern Nickerson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Idaho Falls LDS 19th Ward, 3370 North 500 West, with Bishop Duane Allen officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot.
