ENID CHAFFIN Click here to view Enid's Video Tribute IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Olive Enid Crofts Chaffin, 90, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away January 31, 2009, at her home in Boise. She was born July 3, 1918, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Frank H. Crofts and Mabel McMullin Crofts. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Lincoln Grade School, then graduated from Ammon High School. She lived in Idaho Falls until 1980, when she moved to Southgate, California for eight years to be near JoAnn. She returned to Idaho Falls, where she lived until 2005, when she moved to Boise to be near Carol. She married Glenn R. Chaffin November 14, 1937, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a homemaker and mother. She also worked as a clerk at Saving Center Grocery Store. She and Glenn enjoyed spending winters in Phoenix and summers in Island Park after their retirement. Glenn passed away May 27, 1988. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary and Relief Society and served for many years as a visiting teacher. Enid was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed doing handwork. Survivors include: Daughter: JoAnn (Robert) Larity, Artesia, CA Daughter: Carol (Ted) Jensen, Boise, ID Grandson: Jim (Raquel) Troescher, Sierra Madre, CA Granddaughter: Nikki (Denis) Bramwell, San Clemente, CA Granddaughter: Kelli Troescher, Irvine, CA Sister: Audrey Patch, South Jordan, UT Sister-In-Law: Ethel Crofts, Parker, ID 5 Great Grandchildren Jordan & Spencer Bramwell Sarah, Rebecca & Jacob Troescher She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Frank “Mac” Crofts; and two sisters, Lexie Gill and Marjorie Wadsworth Kotter. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Larry Christensen officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home.
