O. Irene (Hathaway) Decoria

Irene Olive DeCoria, beloved wife, mother, sibling, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away March 28, 2021, at her home.

She was born on October 1,1944, in St Anthony, Idaho. She spent a great deal of her days outdoors from early childhood to present day. She grew up helping out in the different restaurants that her parents operated and also worked for several other companies in the community including KIDK channel 3, Vista Optical, Dr. King Optical, and The Hartford Insurance.

She enjoyed an amazing garden and yard every year with her husband, Del, of over fifty years. Irene enjoyed people and was known to spend a great deal of her time just chatting with friends, neighbors, and family. She was always there for them when they needed cheering up. The neighbors over the years were especially fond relationships for both Del and Irene.

Irene is survived by her daughter Terri (Jerry) Hawkins of Pocatello, ID; son Kurt (Barbie) DeCoria of Pocatello, ID; eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren; sister Vickie and brother Maurice Hathaway.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marie and Bud Hathaway, and her sister Shaunna Miles.

A private, immediate family only, service will be held.
