Dear Vicki, Sherry, Chuck and family,
I was saddened to see your mother's picture and obituary in the local paper.
Thank you for having her birthday party last year. It was so nice that we as a few of her friends were able to celebrate with her for that afternoon. I took a few pictures of us posing together and sent them to her. I still have the birthday invitation with her picture in my treasure box.I will be out of town this week-end and am sorry that I am unable to attend her funeral. Your mom would have wanted it to be a celebration, and you will share those good times.
Norma and I were friends for many, many years here in the 12th ward in Blackfoot. I would travel out on Diggie Rd to visit teach her. We had wonderful over-an-hour visits. She would often tell me of her 'truckin' adventures. And I was very humbled to be called and able to come out to help comfort her when Rone had his accident. She was a dear friend.
This last week I have thought of her often - even before Tuesday, when she passed on. I think her spirit was nudging me, just wanting me to know that she was moving on....
May you have His blessings at this time of reflection and thanksgiving.
Thanks for the memories, Norma. We'll visit again when I get there.
Love, Jackie
