NORMA G. JOHNSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Norma Mary Garner Johnson, 81, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died August 27, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 23, 1920 in Rexburg, Idaho to George Albert Garner and Myrtle Mary Simmons Garner. She grew up and attended schools in Rexburg, where she attended Adams and Washington Schools and graduated from Madison High School. She also attended Glen E. Clark Business School in Idaho Falls for two years.
She married Harvey Roy Johnson on May 14, 1942, in the Salt Lake City Temple. She was a homemaker and mother and also worked as a bookkeeper for First Security Bank for over 25 years.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she held many positions, served in the Arkansas, Little Rock mission and was a regular temple worker. She enjoyed her family, gardening, music, family history, reading and sewing.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, September 1, 2001, at the Ammon LDS 6th Ward, (2945 Selway, Idaho Falls) with Bishop Richard Attebury officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
