Norma M. Hatfield - 08/27/2001 Norma M. Hatfield - 08/27/2001 NORMA M. HATFIELD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Norma Marie Hatfield, 71, of Idaho Falls, died August 26, 2001, at Life Care Center of a lingering illness. Norma was born August 5, 1930, at Springville, Utah, the daughter of Kenneth Marcellus Daley and Mamie Marie Farrell Daley. She grew up in Springville, then lived in Provo and Orem. She attended schools in Springville and at Provo High School. Norma married her sweetheart, ReVerl Hatfield, on August 3, 1947, at Springville. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1950, and to Ammon in 1953, where they have lived ever since. She has been a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she has served in the Ammon 2nd and 6th Wards as a counselor, teacher, and secretary in the Primary, as a den mother in the cub scouts, and as Relief Society Visiting Teacher. Norma loved sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking, canning, walking, hunting, camping, traveling, gardening, growing flowers and roses, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. [Allan] Clark, Twin Falls, IDDaughter: Nancy [Allen] Wadsworth, Rigby, IDDaughter: Denise [Mike] Albert, Omaha, NESon: Mark L. Hatfield, Ammon, IDBrother: Robert C. Daley, Spanish Fork, UTSister: Francis R. Latz, Kingman, AZ 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great GrandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George K. Daley and Glen L. Daley. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2001, at the Ammon LDS 6th Ward, 2945 Selway, with Bishop Richard Attebury officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services on Friday, both at the church.
