NORMA HENDERSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Norma LaDelta Robbins Frandsen Hill Henderson, 91, of Idaho Falls, died August 5, 2005, at her home.
She was born March 1, 1914, in Idaho Falls, to Joseph Hyrum Robbins and Annie Viola Russell Robbins. She attended schools in Iona; Alpine, Wyoming; and Aberdeen.
On February 26, 1934, she married James Peter Frandsen. They farmed in Victor until James’ poor health forced them to sell their farm and move to Idaho Falls, where James died.
She married Leonard Tillman Hill September 3, 1949, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in 1984 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Leonard died in 1983. After Leonard’s death, she married Peter Henderson. They lived in Blackfoot until his death.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending the temple. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, and taking care of her home and yard. Norma loved being with her family and was happiest when they were around her, playing the piano and singing.
Survivors include her daughter, Audrey Croy, of Idaho Falls; 7 stepchildren; 6 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 23 great great grandchildren; brothers, Hyrum Robbins of Iona; Lewis LeRoy Robbins of Murray, Utah; and sister Nelda Cleveland of Idaho Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; all three of her husbands; two children, James Donald Frandsen and Len J. R. Hill; brother, Joseph Henry Robbins; sister, Annie Delila Walker; stepson, Burt Hill; and great great granddaughter, Nessie ‘K’ Shearer.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS North Stake Center (955 Memorial Drive) with Bishop Todd Johnson of the Idaho Falls LDS 13th Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
