Norma Michielutti Corrado, 98, passed away October 21, 2013, at Bonaventure Assisted Living in Idaho Falls, ID. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice and her loving daughters.
Norma was born on July 10, 1915 to Tomaso Michielutti and Domenica Francescon Michielutti in Cavasso Nuovo, Italy. After immigrating from Italy, Norma lived in Boston, MA for 2 years, Poughkeepsie, NY for 30 years, Keene, NY for 30 years. She spent the last 8 years in Idaho Falls, ID.
On March 20, 1938 she married John B. Corrado in Boston, MA. From this union they were blessed with three daughters. John passed away on January 2, 1995.
She was a member of Blessed John Paul II Catholic Community. Norma was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, hiking and cooking.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Diana (Stephen) Cary of Idaho Falls, ID;
Daughter, Alba Corrado of Cranston, RI;
Daughter, Dina Corrado Odak, of Idaho Falls, ID;
5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Thursday 6:30-7:30 p.m. prior to the Rosary. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery in Keene, New York.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
