NORMA LOU BALL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Norma Lou Cooper Ball, 80, of Idaho Falls, died July 3, 2007, at her home.
She was born September 8, 1926, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to James Aurelious Cooper and Amanda Olsen Cooper. She attended Ucon High School and Iona High School.
She married Mark Calloway Ball June 10, 1947, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, and to their union, two children were born. He preceded her in death May 30, 1964. She married Russell W. Going June 11, 1979, in Idaho Falls, and he died January 26, 1995. She worked as an office manager for Market News Service, an agricultural reporting office.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as Librarian, Young Women's President, Relief Society Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, Young Women's Camp Director and a Missionary. She liked to work, and also played the piano and organ, and enjoyed quilt-making and gardening.

Daughter: Patria (Nickolas J.) Mazanis, Woodbridge, VA
Son: Gregory Mark (Penny) Ball, Idaho Falls, ID
5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all her brothers and sisters, and her husbands.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Iona LDS 5th Ward, corner Iona Rd. and Ririe Hiway, with Bishop Geoffrey Thomas officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
