Nina Matahilda Paulson, 88, of Victor, Idaho, passed away May 18, 2015, at Rexburg Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Nina was born August 1, 1926, in Anaconda, Montana, to Ida and Hans Borgen. She grew up and attended schools in Anaconda, and graduated from Anaconda High School. Nina earned her Master’s Degree in Music from the University of Montana Western.
On April 6, 1950, she married Dennis Raye Paulson in Anaconda. To this union was born a son, Gary. Nina and Dennis made their home in Boulder, Colorado, where Nina worked as a bookkeeper for the University of Colorado. Nina and Dennis moved to Idaho Falls in 1995. Dennis passed away on October 31, 2012.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Nina enjoyed music, word puzzles and anything chocolate. Her sweet gentle soul impacted all who met her.
Nina is survived by her son, Gary (Kim) Paulson, of Victor, ID;
brother, Arnold Borgen, of Hamilton, MT;
2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Paulson.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Ammon Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services at Wood East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
