Nina Haroldsen

Nina Louise Olsen Haroldsen, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 31, 2016, at her home.

She was born September 24, 1954, in Boise, Idaho to Ephraim Kay Olsen and Zola Kay Fannin Olsen. She grew up and attended schools in Iona, Ammon, and graduated from Bonneville High School. She went on to Ricks College.

On May 10, 1975, she married Stuart Wade Haroldsen in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where the raised two children to maturity, Melanie Ann (Bryan Anderson) and Heather Ann (Robert Clayton), two other children, Oliver Wade and Amy Jo, being buried in their infancy.

Nina was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bicycling, painting, literature, crafts, history, languages and spending time with family and loved ones. Her desire was to be a life-long student. With practice, she curbed her wit and replaced it with compassion.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016, and the Idaho Falls LDS 7th Ward, 955 Memorial Drive (next to the LDS Temple), with Bishop James Hawkes officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery beside her infant children.
