Antonina Loreen “Nina” Hanck, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 17, 2015, at Pine Brook Assisted Living.
Nina was born December 3, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Michael Cangelose and Santina Tudesco. She was later adopted by Frank Anthony Tanno and legally changed her name to Nina Loreen Tanno. She has two brothers, Peter and Frank Jr. and a sister, Sandra. Nina grew up in Little Italy, Ohio. She moved to Arizona later in life and eventually ended up in Idaho, moving to Idaho Falls in 2014.
On September 25, 1948, she married Walter Leroy Hanck in Ludlow, Kentucky. To this union were born four children, Dennis, Gary, Maureen, and Robert “Bob.” They were later divorced.
Nina was very caring, loving mother and really enjoyed the time she had when her children were young. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was dancing, especially to the polka. She attended the Harvest Church in Glendale, Arizona, and was also a member of the Moose Lodge.
Nina is survived by
daughter, Maureen Bainbridge of Idaho Falls, ID;
son, Gary Hanck of Idaho Falls, ID;
sister, Sandy (Greg) Sladek of Las Vegas, NV;
8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Dennis and Robert Hanck, and two brothers, Peter and Frank Jr.
