Nila Cook

IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nila Marie Atwood Cook, 74, of Ammon, died April 30, 2007, at her home. She was born September 15, 1932, at Raymond, Alberta, Canada, to Nephi Lindsay Atwood and Jessie Smith Atwood. She grew up and attended schools in the area. On September 1, 1955, she married Calvin M. Cook in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nila enjoyed gardening, crafts, dancing, and especially loved being with her family. Survivors include: Daughter: Jaqueline Olsen, Weston, ID Daughter: Sharlene Stevens, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: LaRaye Peterson, Shelley, ID Daughter: Denyse Poulsen, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: SanDee Knowles, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Laun Jay Cook, Iona, ID Son: Layne Ray Cook, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Lindsey Atwood Brother: Gilbert Atwood Brother: Gordon Atwood Brother: Weldon Atwood Brother: Roger Atwood Sister: Erma Oberg Sister: Verna Barr Sister: Georgia Brigs Sister: Della Ward Sister: Jessie Swanson Sister: Joyce Davies 27 Grandchildren & 23 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
