Nicole Pearl Nigg

Nicole Pearl Nigg, 37, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 26, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a long battle with lung disease.

Nicole was born July 1, 1984, in Lovell, Wyoming, to Ken Franks and Denise Franks. She grew up in the Rigby area and later moved to Idaho Falls. On July 12, 2008, she married Eric Nigg in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Nicole and Eric made their home in Idaho Falls where they raised their two children.

She enjoyed reading, video games, and spending time with her children. She loved animals and traveling was a joy when circumstances permitted.

Nicole is survived by her loving husband, Eric Nigg of Idaho Falls, ID, children Hunter and Allison; sister, Jamie (Paul) Jenkins of Iona, ID, brother, Richard Franks of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Natalie Franks of Idaho Falls, ID, and mother, Denise Bilyeu.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Keith Franks; and sister, Janie Franks.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your local animal shelter.
