Nicandro Aguilera - 11/05/2001 Nicandro Aguilera - 11/05/2001 NICANDRO AMARO AGUILERA IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nicandro “Nick” Amaro Aguilera, 76, of Idaho Falls, died November 3, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications of surgery. He was born March 15, 1925 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Aniseto Aguilera and Telesfora Amaro Aguilera. He has lived in Idaho Falls for the past 34 years. He married Julia Isabel Valero in 1943 in Mexico. She preceded him in death April 24, 1963. He was also preceded in death by a son, Raul Aguilera, and a daughter, Rosa Aguilera. He worked as a migrant laborer in the farming industry all of his life. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching his western movies, especially John Wayne, listening to music, enjoyed cleaning, watching his garden grow and most of all, his grandchildren and family around him. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2001, at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 1690 East 17th Street, with Father Bill Crowley officiating. Vigil Prayer Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Father Bill Crowley officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home following the Vigil Prayer Service until 9 p.m, then for one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
