Neva Orme, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 27, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Neva was born April 19, 1930, in Malad City, Idaho, to Joseph Steven Peabody and Amy Kent Peabody. She grew up and attended schools in Kilgore, Shelley and Malad City, graduating from Sugar-Salem High School. On November 4, 1949, she married LaVern H. Orme in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. To this union were born three children, Sandra, Terry and Craig. Neva and Vern made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Neva was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved animals, flower gardening, crocheting, reading and horseback riding in the mountains with her sweetheart, Vern, especially in the fall. Neva is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Tyrone) Belnap of Rigby, ID; son, Terry (Debbie) Orme of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Craig (Sharon) Orme of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, LaRue (Milton) Nelson of Blackfoot, ID; sister, Martha (Don) Dayton of St. Anthony, ID; brother, Steven (Rella) Peabody of Brigham City, UT; 10 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amy Peabody and her husband, Vern Orme. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS Coltman 2nd Ward, 12448 North 5th East, with Bishop Myron Creager officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
