Nels P. Jensen - 04/13/2003 Nels P. Jensen - 04/13/2003 NELS P. JENSEN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nels Peter Jensen, 89, of Idaho Falls, died April 12, 2003, at Life Care Center of causes incident to age. He was born March 5, 1914, at Glen, Idaho, to Rasmus Peter Jensen and Agnes Mae Miller Jensen. He grew up in the McCoy Creek/Star Valley area and attended schools in Alpine, Wyoming and at Lincoln, Idaho. He married Elaine Riley February 14, 1941, at Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Elaine passed away May 6, 1972. He married Beth Weise November 22, 1976 in Idaho Falls and she passed away May 13, 1999. He worked most of his life as a farmer, beginning as a hired hand for Oscar Johnson. He also worked at Pillsbury in Shelley and for Pacific Fruit and Slusser Wholesale. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Dale Madsen of the Idaho Falls LDS Westhill Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
