We were very sorry to read of the passing of your Mother and Grandmother, Nellie Bate.
I always enjoyed visiting with her and especially appreciated her making an effort to attend our 'Walker' family reunions after we began having them. I am sorry that neither myself nor any of my family will be able to attend the funeral services for her but please know that our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Please accept our sympathies.
Also, just to let you know, the Walker reunion is scheduled for June 27th at the home of David & Fern Chaffee and we would love to have any of you attend that would like to.

It seems like yesterday Lorin and I were kids making candles, etc in cub scouts. You were always there to make our days a lot brighter. You will be sorely missed and well remembered. Now you and Lorin, and Pa Bate are together probably looking down at us and watching over us as you had in life. Rest in peace til we meet again, and bless all those left behind that we may be comforted in the knowledge you are together again waiting for the rest of us to follow your lead. God bless.
Love, your adopted kid, Dave Horton
