Nell Farmer

NELL C. FARMER IDAHO FALLS, ID - Nell C. Farmer, 85, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, formerly of Hernando, Mississippi, died July 22, 2003 at her home. She was born December 12, 1917 in Lula, Mississippi, to Horace William Carpenter and Lena Thornton Carpenter. She was reared and attended schools in Mississippi and graduated from Lula Rich High School in Lula, Mississippi. She married J.K. Farmer on June 29, 1935 in Lula, Mississippi. She has resided for the past four years in the Idaho Falls area with her daughter and son-in-law. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are: Daughter: Marilyn Kay May, (Cinclair) Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Sara C. Gole, Batesville, MS 2 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband. The family suggests memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Idaho Falls, (325 Elm Street), or Hospice of Eastern Idaho (1920 E. 17th Street). Graveside Services will be at the First Marks Cemetery, in Marks, Mississippi. Burial will be in Marks Cemetery under the direction of Kimbro Funeral Home. Local arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
