Neil Bruce Allen

Neil Bruce Allen was born on November 11, 1948, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to George and Sylvia Allen. He passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, surrounded by his loving family.

Neil attended Groveland Elementary, Blackfoot Junior High School, and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1967. He later earned a degree in auto mechanics from Provo Technical College. He worked for many years at INEL before starting and successfully running his own business for over thirty years.

As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Neil faithfully served in numerous leadership roles, including Young Men's President, Elders Quorum President, Scout Master, where his love of Scouting encouraged him to take a Wood Badge course, then he served as a Wood Badge leader. He then served as a Bishopric Counselor, Bishop, and a member of the Stake High Council. He was a dedicated member who deeply loved his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Neil was an enthusiastic and passionate volleyball coach, sharing his love for the game and positively influencing the lives of countless young women, including several of his own granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sylvia Allen; his brother, Ronald Burleigh Allen; and his grandson, Peyton Thomas Allen.

Neil is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Eja; his eight children, Travus (Marci), Tricia (Thayne), Stacey, Jennifer (Jerod), Ryan (Marsi), Tyson, Nicholas, and Ashley (Tory); two sisters, Janet (Tim), and Sandy (John); 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Ammon 3rd Ward Church Building, 2150 Avocet Avenue, in Ammon, Idaho. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Burial will take place afterward in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.

Neil's love, laughter, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
