NEDEEN WHITEHEAD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nedeen Whitehead, 78, of Idaho Falls, died December 6, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born September 15, 1929, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Lawrence W. Garner and Lottie May Pincock Garner. She attended Sugar City Grade School and Ammon High School. She also studied art under the direction of several area artists. She married Jack Edward Whitehead on September 2, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They raised a daughter and a son. She was a homemaker. She served as the president of the Idaho Falls Art Guild and was instrumental in implementing the first annual sidewalk art show. She enjoyed water color and oil art, antique collecting, interior decorating, sewing, and designing stained glass windows. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Joshua Conner and his wife, Niamh. Survivors include: Husband: Jack Whitehead, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Trudy Ann (James) Bellke, Apple Valley, CA Son: Tory Jack (Lisa Ker) Whitehead, Tetonia, ID Brother: Joseph (Loris) Garner, Preston, ID Brother: Val Garner, Ammon, ID Sister: Beth (Don) Petersen, Boise, ID 1 Grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jay Garner; and sisters, Wanda Stucki and Gail Allen. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Good Fellows or the Development Workshop Foundation, 555 W. 25th St., Idaho Falls, ID 83402-9930. ------------------------------------ Condolences received online: Julie & Mike Garcia Dear Jack, Trudy, Tory & Family, Our hearts go out to you at this time.
