NATHELL SPRACHER

Nathell Spracher, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 8, 2006, at her home from pneumonia.
She was born January 13, 1930, in Garfield, Idaho, to Alfred Andrus and Elva Severson Andrus. She attended schools in Lincoln and Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1947. She attended Eastern Idaho Technical College and earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In addition to working in Nursing, she was co-owner of two businesses with her husband, Glenn's Cold Storage and a 7/11 Convenience Store.
She married Glenn Lake Spracher July 20, 1948, in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was a homemaker and mother.
She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various callings and especially enjoyed teaching the 3-yr.-old Primary class. She was also a member of the DOE Elks, JCettes, the Prominators and was a Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts leader. She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, snow and water skiing, golfing, gardening, and, with her family, enjoyed many memories at their cabin on Palisades Lake. She and Glenn enjoyed their winter home in St. George, Utah.

Son: Kurt R. (Leann) Spracher, Idaho Falls, ID
Half-sister: Cheryl Brower, Rigby, ID
11 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather and a brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 N. Ridge, with Bishop Randy Hurley of the Ammon LDS 6th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to services Tuesday, both at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
