NATHAN STONEBERG
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nathan Ray Stoneberg, 31, passed away in the early hours of Sunday, October 21, 2007.
Nathan, born August 7, 1976, in Frankfurt, Germany, had lived in Idaho Falls for many years of his life, the most recent being the last 13 months. Nathan had returned to Idaho Falls after the tragic death of his father, Keith Stoneberg, last year, to be closer to his family.
Nathan enjoyed playing board games with his family and friends. Nathan’s most favorite game was Boggle, which he and his best friend Andy would sit and play for hours. Nathan also enjoyed playing video games with his brother-in-law, Dan. Nathan has worked at Qwest on and off for a few years. He developed many friendships there and each and every one of his dear friends will miss him very much.
Nathan is dearly missed by his two children, Joshua (6), and Audrey (4), who both reside in Arizona with their mother. Nathan’s memory will be carried on by his loving family, including his mother, Lavon Stoneberg. who Nathan held very dear and had a close and loving relationship with, Nathan’s two sisters, Sarah, whom he lovingly called Rara, and Andrea, who was Nathan’s shadow as a little girl. Nathan’s young nieces, K’bree (7), whom he was teaching to ride a bike without training wheels, Taylor (2), who loved getting hugs from Nathan, and Olivia (1), who loved her “Na Na” dearly and has been looking around for him, will also miss him.
Please come and help the family remember Nathan from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Nathan will be buried close to his children in Arizona on Saturday, October 27, 2007.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted. Please forward all donations to Westmark Credit Union, 2160 West Broadway, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, under Nathan’s mother’s name, Lavon Stoneberg.
