NATHAN H. LORDS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nathan H. Lords, 80, of Roberts, passed away March 10, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a lingering illness. Nate was born November 4, 1929, in Sage Creek, Idaho, to Hensen Ira Lords and Liddy Leava Shelton Lords. He attended schools in Roberts and Rigby. He married Neva Fern Robbins on November 23, 1949, in Garfield, Idaho. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a Section Hand for 30 years. He also farmed off and on through the years. He accepted the responsibility of raising Fern’s siblings as well as his own family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He believed in putting his family first and always had them with him. Survivors include: Wife: Fern Lords, Roberts, ID Daughter: Nancy Jean Davis, American Falls, ID Son: Don Henry (Kay) Lords, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Nathan Junior (Christina) Lords, Roberts, ID Son: Jay Hensen Lords, Ucon, ID Brother: Tim (Donna) Lords, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Ethel Ellibee, Idaho Falls, ID 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers and sisters; one daughter, Anna Marie Lords; and one grandson, David Lords. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 15, 2010, at the Roberts LDS 1st Ward, 663 North 2858 East, with Bishop Alex Andher officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
