Nathan Lee Blaylock, 33, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 12, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Nate was born on January 27, 1978, in Ogden, Utah, to Danny Levi Blaylock and Sharrie Diane Atkinson. He grew up in Washington Terrace, Utah. He graduated from Bonneville High School and attended Weber State University. He was an Eagle Scout. He served a full-time proselyting mission to Tampa, Florida, from 1997 to 1999 for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Holly Marie Evans on October 26, 2004, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where Nate worked as a Marketing-Promotions Manager at KLIM Company. Nate was passionate about politics. He loved automobiles, dirt bikes and snowmobiling. He enjoyed photography, camping, and spending time outdoors. He was a Varsity Scout coach. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife and children. Survivors include his wife, Holly; sons, Parker, Joshua, Ethan and daughter, Grace. Also surviving are his parents, Danny and Sharrie Blaylock of Washington Terrace, UT; brothers, Jacob (Amy)Blaylock of Rexburg, Christopher Blaylock of Washington Terrace, UT; sisters, Jennifer (Richard) Jones of Roy, UT, Malinda (Jason) Pehrson of Logan, UT; and grandmother, Mary Atkinson of Roy, UT. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Emery Atkinson; and grandparents Angus and Vilate Blaylock. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at the Idaho Falls LDS Crestwood Ward, 1925 East 49th South, with Bishop Sheldon Dance officiating. There will be no visitations.
