Nathan Taylor Adams, 23, of Newport, Oregon, passed away March 5, 2017, after fighting a courageous battle against mental illness. He was born in Clackamas, Oregon, to parents, Eric C. Adams and Christine M. Adams of Firth, Idaho. He proudly graduated from Blackfoot High School in 2011. Nate's interests lied in extreme sports. He loved skateboarding as a child, as well as snowboarding and his greatest passion of all....surfing his mighty Pacific Ocean. He was fearless and found his serenity in the crashing waves. He was actively involved in the Newport AA Community where he chaired meetings and inspired many. Nate had a way of loving people unconditionally and completely. He was witty, creative, daring and brave. He deeply loved his brother, Levi and sister, Olivia. He is survived by his parents, Eric and Christine Adams; brother, Levi Adams; sister, Olivia Adams of Firth, ID; grandmother, Virginia Corbell of Firth, ID; grandparents, Chet and Phyllis Adams of Firth, ID; Aunt Martha and Uncle Pablo Garcia of Ensenada, Mexico; aunt, Lisa Adams of Boise, ID; and cousins, Benjamin Garcia (Jeanelle), Jacob Garcia, Jared Loughmiller (Katie) and Craig Loughmiller. He was preceded in death by his much loved uncle, Scott Adams of Firth, ID. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Crosspoint Community Church, 1900 Grandview Drive in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends at 1:00 p.m., with the service following at 2:00 p.m. Nate did not give up, he simply moved on.
