Nancy Lee (Tevebaugh) Lucas

Nancy Lee Lucas of Reno, Nevada, passed away October 1, 2022, at her home in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of her loving family and Brio Hospice.

Nancy was born June 19, 1945, in Long Beach, California, to Gilbert Tevebaugh and Mary Mae Campbell Tevebaugh.

She grew up and attended schools in California and Colorado. She graduated from Canoga Park High School.

On November 17, 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Roy Plummer, in Canoga Park, California. They were blessed with a son, Troy Plummer, and a daughter, Tonja Plummer Nickovich. They later divorced.

Her working career included a job at Anixter as a Bookkeeper, Keno manager, and Keno writer in the casino industry.

The most important things in Nancy's life were her children and family. Later, she married James Lucas on July 6, 1978. She lovingly embraced his family including his daughter, Mykhael Kuciapinski.

Nancy loved to sew. She was known to have made beautiful dresses for her daughter.

Nancy is survived by her son, Troy; daughter, Tonja (Tom); three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and her brother, Marvin Tevebaugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lavoyn Tevebaugh.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Wood Funeral Home.
