NANCY B. BURR
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Nancy Bryant Farrenkopf Burr, 68, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died January 10, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of leukemia.
She was born April 20, 1934 in Newburgh, New York to Leslie and Florence Farrenkopf. She was raised in Newburgh where she met and married Tom Burr on March 2, 1957. They lived in New Jersey and Wisconsin before moving to Idaho Falls in 1966.
Nancy was a member of the Shady Ladies bowling team for over 30 years. It always brought her great happiness to spend time with her family or friends on special occasions or for any reason at all. Over the years, she spent many happy days camping and following the family to the ski hill to see her sons race for the Idaho Falls Ski Team. One of her favorite jobs was working the election booths for many years. Shopping was a favorite past-time and buying gifts for her children and grandchildren for any occasion brought her great joy. She was very proud of her husband, children and grandchildren and loved telling anyone who would listen of their accomplishments. Tom and Nancy's trips to Hawaii were always the highlight of their year.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Burr, Idaho FallsDaughter: Leslie Anne (Paul) Nelson, Boise, IDSon: Tom Burr, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Tim (Jennifer) Burr, Silverton, ORSister: Ruth (Bob) Eaton, Newburgh, NY6 Grandchildren, Zachary and Cassandra Burr, Michael and Scott nelson and Timothy and Shane Burr.She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Farrenkopf and a sister, Anne Farrenkopf.
Memorial Services will be at 4:00 p.m., January 13, 2003, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
