Nanci Cutler

Nanci Lin Cutler passed away July 7, 2018, at the age of 51.

She was born December 3, 1966, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to her loving parents Frank and Aeko June Date. She graduated from Skyline High School in 1985 as well as Idaho State University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in finance and management.

Nanci married Zane Cutler September 10, 1994. Three years later they had their first child, Kaden. Their second child, Shaylee, was born in 2000. Nanci’s hobbies included riding horses, caring for dogs, ringing handbells, and she enjoyed taking vacations especially to the islands of Hawaii. She was an active volunteer at Trinity United Methodist Church as well as the Snake River Animal Shelter. Her children remember her as a loving, caring, and devoted mom who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Nanci is survived by her children, Kaden and Shaylee Cutler; her mother Aeko June Date; her siblings, Gavin Date, Cathy Date, Gregory Date, and Marci Ahlquist; and her former husband, Zane Cutler. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Date.

She will always be remembered for her bright and beautiful smile. Nanci did not give up; she simply moved on and will be greatly missed by all.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at Trinity United Methodist Church (237 North Water Ave) in Idaho Falls, Idaho with Rev. Ruth Marsh officiating. There will be a visitation for friends and family one hour before the funeral service. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
