Nadine Edith Peterson Call, 87, of Ammon, passed away March 20, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Nadine was born October 16, 1937, in Provo, Utah, to Harold E. Peterson and Edna Bott Peterson. She grew up and attended schools in Provo and graduated from Provo High School. Nadine also attended Brigham Young University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education, and later taught high school Home Economics.
On June 5, 1967, she married Willard Lester Call in the Logan Temple. Nadine and Willard made their home in Ammon, Idaho. She lived most of her married life in Ammon and loved it there. She was a mother of seven children, who with their families, filled her life with happiness.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Nadine loved her time spent serving in the Relief Society as a teacher, President, Councilor, Visiting Teacher Supervisor, and being a Visiting Teacher. She was also blessed to serve as a Temple Worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. Nadine loved working in her yard, getting her hands dirty, and making it look pretty. Most of all, she loved being with her family. They were the highlight of her life.
Nadine is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Willard Call of Ammon, ID; children, Blaine (Stephanie) Call of Rexburg, ID, Brian (Michelle) Call of Ammon, ID, Ron (Brenda) Call of Rexburg, ID, Denise (Mike) Stansel of Ammon, ID, Karen (Chris) Sheffield of Ammon, ID, and Ryan Call of Ammon, ID; brother, Harold (Larry) Peterson of Provo, UT; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stillborn daughter, Anita Lynn Call, and sister, LaRae Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The funeral services will be broadcast live on this page. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 prior. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
