Nadine Brown Aschliman, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away on July 30, 2013, at Lincoln Court.
She was born November 25, 1928, in Rigby, Idaho to James Lorenzo Brown and Charlotte Lowey Brown. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Rigby High School.
On June 14, 1950, she married Robert Lee Aschliman in Rigby. Their marriage was solemnized on July 29, 2001, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a mother, grandmother, and homemaker and also worked in sales at Just Appliance and Long’s Ceramic Shop.
Nadine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was actively involved in Relief Society. She served in various callings including Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed crocheting, painting ceramics, canning, baking, and cooking.
Survivors are:
Son: Denton R. (Patsey) Aschliman. Roy, Utah
Son: Bruce J. (Cindy) Aschliman, Hailey, Idaho
Son: Brian E. (Donna) Aschliman, Shelley, Idaho
Son: Miles R. Aschliman, Grantsville, Utah
Sister: Thelma Welker
8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Kay; and 2 sisters, Betty and Maurine.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to One Source Hospice for the kind and loving care given to their mother.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
