Nadeen (Peterson) Wareham

Nadeen Wareham, 73, of Idaho Falls, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 11, 2025, at Lily & Syringa Assisted Living Center, after valiantly battling Parkinson’s Disease for more than two decades. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

Nadeen was born January 1, 1952, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Hyrum and Carsie Peterson. She grew up and attended school in Rigby, Idaho. She later moved to Idaho Falls in 1980 where she lived the rest of her life.

She worked for more than 20 years as Director of the Senior Citizens Center in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed the opportunity to serve and befriend the elderly members of the community who would visit the center for meals, games, or various other activities. Nadeen was instrumental in starting the "Meals on Wheels" program that delivered meals to homebound members of the Idaho Falls community.

She was a member of Christ Community Church in Idaho Falls and treasured the deep friendships and community she found there. Nadeen loved the worship music that was sung during services, and even as her health diminished, her desire to worship remained constant.

Nadeen enjoyed many different activities including thrift shopping and visiting yard sales where she was always on the lookout for a great deal. She enjoyed a variety of different crafts and loved to make things to brighten people's days. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing cards and games with her family.

Far and away though, Nadeen's greatest joy were her grandchildren. She loved to attend their various activities and sporting events to support and cheer them on, bring them along on her various shopping adventures, or take them to get a Jamba Juice (her favorite was the Pumpkin Smash). One of her favorite activities to do with her grandchildren was the annual camping trips the families took together, exploring various locations throughout Idaho and Montana. Many fond memories were made on those trips.

Nadeen is survived by her four sons, Brandy (Lori) Corgatelli of Idaho Falls, ID; Bret (Karen) Corgatelli of Moscow, ID; Blake (Caroline) Corgatelli of Idaho Falls, ID; Bryant "Jed" Wareham of Idaho Falls, ID; 8 grandchildren, Becca (Chris) Fisk, Josh (Jenna) Corgatelli, Emily (Ross) Blattner, Jordan Corgatelli, Carson (Tristin) Corgatelli, Ethan Corgatelli, Isaac (McKenzie) Corgatelli, and Abbey (Trenton) Barker; brothers, Lee McDowell of Reno, NV, Teddy (Sue) McDowell of San Jose, CA, and George (Jeannie) McDowell of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carsie Peterson; father, Hyrum Peterson; sister, Louise Tea; brother, Dale McDowell; and sister, Connie Peterson.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Christ Community Church, 5742 South 5th West, Idaho Falls.
